Today is 4 May 2018. Wow! I have lived to see it! All the way to the 21st century! Since yesterday I sent out invitations to my blog, I shall have to “answer for my talk” and write every day.

Today’s event is the 30th birthday of my daughter-in-law Tina. She is Danish. How my elder son found her “remains a puzzle” for me. Or did she find him? In short, the virtual became real. It happens… I sent a little gift in good time. The other day they reported that “thank you, we received it! But we won’t open it until the birthday.” That is willpower! I don’t remember myself like that.

If I received something, I opened it and ate it at once. I most of all loved edible gifts! I would talk myself into “hide it farther away!” Well, I hide it… Then what? Then you walk around, suffering. That pleasure convolution in my brain “drills a hole.” That’s how it was! Now it’s a bit easier… I grew up at last.

And in the distant year 1969, 4 May was another sad-happy event. My younger sister was 6. She went to kindergarten, and on that day, at the kindergarten, she had an attack of treacherous appendicitis. A low bow to the kindergarten teacher Nadezhda Nikolayevna, who in time, without delay, called an ambulance, after her shift ran to our home, in the daytime (the parents had not yet come from work; I was at home) and reported which hospital the child was in. “Yes! There were people in our time…” But there were no telephones.
