Sometimes I listen to Norwegian radio. Such funny ones. Among themselves they talk, talk, talk “… about nothing.” Two or three people on the radio try to amuse themselves, and at the same time the radio listeners. It is already almost seven years since I arrived here, and yet the problem of understanding Norwegian exists for me. So I have to listen to the radio in the mornings and Norwegian news in the evenings.
For example today in the morning they talked about homosexuality. Supposedly here in the South of Norway tolerance toward sexual minorities is rising. (research is being conducted) and here more research in Oslo showed that in the capital live only 3% homosexuals. Well, I at once “switched on my brains” and counted in my head… (at school they taught me to count orally). And I got a figure from 3%… not a small figure — somewhere 24 thousand people! And that is the population of an average Norwegian town.
They also reasoned on the theme of adoption of children into families of non-traditional orientation. This I already call an experiment on children. A pity for the children. Children are not rabbits!
