There was no great desire to watch the news today. So I decided to do something household-useful — take out the rubbish in the evening. And at the same time breathe some sea air. I came back quickly, and the news is still broadcasting. I think, all right, I’ll “wave” a little more with my favourite household weapon, brought from the distant homeland, a broom, “lightly.” In general I stretched… and here my gaze and hearing sharpened by the TV…

And there… a whole demonstration against violence! In Norway. A correspondent asks random passers-by: “What percentage of violence against women is there in Norway?” And each answers differently, i.e. they “guess.” Some named 5%, some 15%… It turned out 30% of women in Norway experience violence.

Here the broom fell from my hands… “What on earth is this? Poor Norwegian women!” Or maybe not poor…. Or maybe it seemed so to them?
